Inspired by the film, this project explores the elegance and complexity of Tudor-era fashion.
It was my first deep dive into Western historical costume—and the starting point of my fascination with theatrical design across time and culture.

Merrily We Roll Along
Set in reverse chronology, this Stephen Sondheim musical traces the bittersweet unraveling of friendships and dreams.
Through shifting decades and evolving silhouettes, my costume designs reflect the passage of time—backwards.
It was a unique challenge to visualise ageing in reverse, while keeping characters emotionally true at every point in the timeline.
